M.S. Program in Entrepreneurship Management
The Program was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan in 2014. A Master of Science (MS) degree will be awarded upon the graduation of the program. Students are expected to gain the fundamental business skills and knowledge necessary to foster innovative ideas and build an entrepreneurial mindset of “passion, commitment and sharing”.
Our experienced and professional faculties recruited from a variety of academic disciplines ranging from management, finance, foreign languages, electrical, design and engineering. Quality teaching and integrated curriculum are provided to enrich the program along with numerous scholarly activities.
Cross-disciplinary integrated courses are offered where students can plan their research subjects on their interests. Students are also encouraged to participate in domestic and international entrepreneurship competitions during their stay in school. The business plan for the entrepreneurship competition can be turned into thesis or technical report.
Admission Information:
Admission can be processed by either applications or written tests. For students opted for application, application papers must be submitted every year between October and November and personal interview will be taken placed in November. Students who selected to take written test are required to file for the test before February and the test will be held in March.
Graduation Requirements:
Under the 2-year curriculum, to meet your graduation requirements and be awarded a degree, you must:
1. Earned at least 42 credits through approved courses.
2. Among the credits earned, you must have 21 credits for compulsory courses and 21 credits for elective courses.
3. Complete the thesis before applying for graduation.
4. Among the 21 credits for elective courses, at least 6 credits must be taken from the courses offered by this program. In addition, 9 credits can be approved if courses are offered by the graduate program from each of the following departments: (1) Department of Marketing and Distribution (2) Department of Information Management (3) Department of Industrial Design
